Rescue Teams Save A Man After Falling Into Dhofar Valley

Emergency responders in Oman rescued a man after he fell into Wadi Jarziz in Dhofar Governorate, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said on Wednesday.

CDAA teams reached the injured man, safely pulled him from the valley and transported him to a hospital for further treatment.

Authorities did not provide details about the circumstances of the incident or the extent of the man’s injuries.

Following the rescue, the CDAA urged visitors to Dhofar, which attracts thousands of tourists during the annual Khareef season, to follow safety instructions when visiting valleys, waterfalls and other natural attractions.

The authority said observing safety guidelines can help prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of visitors exploring the region’s popular outdoor destinations.
