Kuwaiti Companies Commit $16 Million to Emergency Response Fund

Leading Kuwaiti companies have pledged a combined $16 million to the newly established Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, supporting a national initiative aimed at strengthening the country's preparedness for emergencies and protecting critical infrastructure. The latest contributions include $10 million from Zain Group and $6 million from BNK Holding and several of its affiliated companies, according to statements released on Tuesday. BNK Holding's contribution was made alongside Gulf Cable and Electrical Industries Company, Boursa Kuwait, Kuwaiti Clearing Company and National Investments Company. Gulf Cable pledged $2 million, while the Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi Group, Boursa Kuwait, Kuwait Clearing Company and National Investments Company each contributed $1 million.
