Iran-Qatar Shipping Route Resumes After Five Months

A key maritime cargo route connecting Iran and Qatar has resumed operations after being suspended for five months due to regional conflict, restoring an important trade link between the two countries. The shipping service between Iran's Dayyer Port and Qatar's Al-Ruwais Port was halted after the conflict disrupted maritime activity and caused damage to infrastructure, including strikes on Dayyer Port. Abbas Abdolkhani, Iran's commercial attaché in Doha, said the route was reopened following coordination between the Iranian Embassy in Qatar and Qatari maritime authorities, according to Iranian state media.
