Bahrain Farmer’s Market in Budaiya Extended for Two More Weeks

Great news for fans of fresh, local produce! The Bahrain Farmer’s Market in Budaiya has been extended for two more weeks. Originally set to end soon, the market will now remain open until Saturday, March 8, 2025. This gives visitors two more Saturdays to enjoy fresh products during Ramadan.

The Bahrain Farmer’s Market has gained popularity over the years. The Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs announced the extension to provide more time for local farmers to showcase their goods. The move supports the Kingdom’s farmers and gives them a chance to reach more customers.

The extension fits perfectly with Ramadan. Families can visit the market to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, dates, honey, and plants. It’s an ideal place to prepare for iftar and ghabga. Visitors can also enjoy a calm stroll through the beautiful Budaiya Botanical Gardens.

Changes During Ramadan

There are a few changes at the market during Ramadan. Visitors will notice less noise, as the market will not have loud music or entertainment. This makes the atmosphere quieter and more respectful of the holy month.

Please remember to respect those fasting. Avoid eating or drinking in public spaces. The café and food court sections will also close for eating. However, shoppers can still buy many items to take home.

Support Local Farmers

This extension allows everyone to support local farmers. It’s a chance to buy fresh, sustainable products directly from those who grow them. As the market continues through Ramadan, families can enjoy high-quality produce while strengthening their connection to the community.

In conclusion, the Bahrain Farmer’s Market is a perfect place to celebrate fresh, local flavors. Whether you’re picking out vegetables or enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, this extended event is a wonderful way to support Bahraini farmers.
