Kuwait Showcases Bold Energy Vision at Global Forum

Kuwait highlighted its leadership in energy innovation during a major International Energy Forum meeting in Riyadh. The delegation showcased its expertise in carbon management, digital energy data, and clean energy initiatives, emphasizing the importance of advancing regional energy cooperation from the outset.

At the forum, Nimr Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah presented Kuwait’s strategy for adopting advanced emissions management practices. He explained that digital transformation plays a key role in enhancing energy operations. During the session on carbon management and gas developments, Kuwait shared a technical paper, demonstrating its proactive engagement in global energy discussions.

Kuwait’s presentation also emphasized the country’s work in the gas, oil, and hydrogen sectors. It highlighted innovation and efficiency improvements across the energy value chain. The session encouraged participants to exchange ideas on addressing future energy challenges while exploring collaborative solutions.

The Kuwaiti delegation included Khaled Al-Dayeen, who focused on technical advancements and investment priorities. Together, they reviewed modern technologies supporting clean energy transition and the development of global energy data systems. Officials stressed the importance of strong cooperation between governments and industries to achieve energy security, sustainability, and long-term development goals.

In a related initiative, Tamadher Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discussed the success of a Gulf petroleum media workshop for non-journalists. Kuwait hosted the event to strengthen regional communication on energy and climate matters. The idea emerged during a previous GCC meeting, highlighting Kuwait’s role in fostering joint initiatives. The proposal gained GCC approval because it reinforces a professional and unified regional voice.

The workshop emphasized public awareness and media engagement in energy and climate topics. Participants gained practical communication tools while exchanging expertise on sustainability challenges in GCC countries. Sessions covered Gulf media strategies and approaches to educate the public on energy issues. This initiative also helped promote advancing regional energy cooperation through consistent dialogue.

She noted that the event added clear value by combining interactive discussion and knowledge sharing. Leaders recognized the workshop’s contribution to a shared understanding of clean energy policies. The presence of Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi further enhanced the event’s impact. Finally, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to building institutional capacity and improving regional collaboration. Kuwait continues to position itself as a stabilizing force in global energy markets, consistently advancing regional energy cooperation across every platform.
