Kuwait Security Support Strengthened by Pakistan and Lebanon Amid Regional Tensions

Kuwait has received strong Kuwait security support from Pakistan and Lebanon amid rising regional tensions. Leaders from both countries expressed solidarity following recent security threats.

On Friday, Kuwait’s Crown Prince spoke with Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The discussion highlighted Kuwait’s commitment to peaceful resolutions and international stability.

The Crown Prince praised Pakistan’s active role in promoting regional peace. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sharif condemned attacks targeting Kuwait and its neighbors. Both emphasized the need for immediate de-escalation and diplomatic solutions.

Pakistan is also emerging as a potential venue for US-Iran negotiations. The country plans to host talks alongside Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt, with foreign ministers discussing ways to reduce regional tension.

Pakistani officials communicated a US proposal to Iran for ending ongoing conflicts. Tehran indicated that negotiations could occur in Pakistan or Turkey, signaling a possible path toward dialogue.

In addition to Pakistan’s support, Lebanon also reaffirmed its commitment to Kuwait’s safety. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned a terrorist plot targeting Kuwait, emphasizing full backing for security measures.

The call also highlighted the historical ties between Kuwait and Lebanon. The Lebanese Prime Minister underlined that attacks against Kuwait or GCC countries threaten broader regional peace efforts.

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s interior ministry revealed the recent foiling of a major terrorist plot. Authorities dismantled a network linked to the banned Hezbollah group, arresting six suspects and identifying 14 fugitives abroad.

The arrests included five Kuwaitis and one individual with revoked citizenship. Foreign fugitives included two Iranians, two Lebanese, and five Kuwaitis. Security authorities stressed vigilance and proactive measures to maintain national safety.

The combined diplomatic and security efforts demonstrate Kuwait’s determination to preserve stability. Pakistan and Lebanon’s reaffirmation of support highlights the significance of regional cooperation in addressing threats.

The situation underscores Kuwait’s commitment to security and international collaboration. The Kuwait security support from both countries ensures continued focus on peace and safety in the Gulf.
