Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has called for continued reforms in Kuwait’s education sector, urging officials to strengthen school standards, embrace artificial intelligence and prepare early for the next academic year.
During a meeting with Education Minister Jalal Al-Tabtabaei as well as senior ministry officials, the Amir reviewed a report on the completion of first-round examinations for Grades 10, 11 and 12 during the 2025–2026 academic year.
The Amir congratulated education officials on the successful completion of the school year and praised teachers for their role in supporting students and improving educational outcomes.
He instructed the ministry to carry out regular field inspections, address challenges facing schools and ensure early preparations for the upcoming academic year. The directives also included enhancing teacher readiness, improving school facilities and continuing to modernise curricula while reinforcing national values and identity.
The Amir also stressed the importance of equipping students with skills that encourage creativity and innovation. He called for wider use of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to help prepare future generations for a competitive and evolving workforce.
In a separate meeting, the Amir received Justice Minister Nasser Al-Sumait, who introduced Awatif Al-Sanad following her appointment as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice.
