Bahrain Strengthens International Ties to Promote Religious Freedom and Coexistence

Bahrain is taking active steps to highlight the impact of promoting coexistence and religious freedom across the region. The Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance met with the Special Representative of Cyprus for Religious Freedoms to discuss collaboration. This meeting reinforced the impact of promoting coexistence and religious freedom on international partnerships.

The discussion took place with the presence of the Director of the Coexistence Department. During the meeting, the Vice Chairman reviewed the strong ties and cooperation between Bahrain and Cyprus. The Special Representative of Cyprus expressed her appreciation for Bahrain’s efforts and the role of the Centre in supporting religious freedoms. Following the bilateral meeting, both representatives attended a regional gathering of Cypriot ambassadors accredited to the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
