Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence Signs MoU to Advance AI Education and Innovation in Qatar

In a major step toward strengthening Qatar’s role in the global AI arena, the Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s Universal AI University. This agreement aims to boost research, education, and innovation in artificial intelligence across Qatar and the wider region.

The signing ceremony brought together key leaders from both institutions. Eng. Khalid Abdulrahim Al-Sayed, Chairman of the Board at the Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence, and Tarundeep Singh Anand, President of Universal AI University, formally endorsed the collaboration. As a result, this partnership will foster high-level cooperation in research, education, and AI technology development.

Significantly, the agreement outlines the creation of a joint research center focused on emerging technologies. It will also include advanced training programs designed to upskill professionals in AI and related fields. Moreover, several online and short-term courses will soon launch to meet the rising demand for AI expertise in Qatar’s workforce.

Furthermore, both institutions plan to establish a regional hub for artificial intelligence. This dedicated campus will offer academic programs in AI, engineering, environmental sustainability, and business. Clearly, this aligns with Qatar’s long-term vision of evolving into a knowledge-based economy.

Eng. Al-Sayed emphasized the strategic importance of this move. He noted that the Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence is committed to helping Qatar become a global hub for AI-driven innovation. According to him, blending local talent with international expertise is essential for shaping the future.

Tarundeep Singh Anand also praised the partnership. He highlighted that Universal AI University looks forward to empowering learners, researchers, and innovators. He added that this MoU will create smart solutions that address real-world challenges.

Overall, this collaboration sets the stage for a future filled with cutting-edge discoveries. The Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence continues to take bold steps to transform Qatar into a leader in artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
