Bahrain and U.S. Strengthen Parliamentary Cooperation Through Delegation Visit

Bahrain continues to build strong parliamentary ties with the United States. On Tuesday, the Bahraini House of Representatives welcomed a visiting U.S. delegation. The group included staff from both the U.S. House and Senate.

Amira Al-Qataf, Director of the Parliamentary Studies and Training Department, received the delegation. She was joined by Ms. Shaza Abu Al-Fateh, a department expert. Together, they guided the American delegation through several key sessions.

Both sides emphasized their desire to develop strong parliamentary ties. They reviewed decades of strategic cooperation. Additionally, they explored new ways to expand legislative partnerships.

The visit focused heavily on sharing experiences between the two countries’ legislative bodies. Delegates discussed organizing more mutual visits. They also explored joint training programs and expert exchanges.
