Muscat and Salalah Airports Shine in ACI Middle East Airport Awards

Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport have earned top honors from Airports Council International (ACI) for airport service quality in the Middle East. These prestigious awards highlight both airports’ exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.

Muscat International Airport received several accolades in the 5 to 15 million passenger category. It was named the “Best Airport in the Middle East” in this group. Additionally, the airport won awards for the “Best Staff Performance,” the “Easiest Airport Journey,” and the “Cleanest Airport” in the region. These honors reflect the airport’s commitment to offering passengers a seamless and pleasant experience.

Meanwhile, Salalah Airport was awarded “Best Airport in the Middle East” in the category for airports handling fewer than 2 million passengers. Salalah also received recognition for “Best Staff Performance,” “Easiest Airport Journey,” and the “Cleanest Airport” in the region. The airport stood out as the “Most Enjoyable Airport” in the Middle East, showing its focus on passenger comfort and convenience.

Salalah Airport has achieved another milestone. It is now included on the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence. This is a prestigious honor, acknowledging the airport’s consistent high performance and dedication to passenger satisfaction.

In addition, Salalah Airport will join the “Top 10 Airports” Roll of Excellence for 2025. This list, first established in 2011, highlights the world’s best-performing airports. Muscat International Airport itself was listed in the 2024 edition, showcasing its continued excellence on the global stage.

These awards emphasize the growing reputation of Muscat and Salalah Airports in providing excellent services in the Middle East. Both airports have proven their commitment to ensuring top-tier service and an unforgettable passenger experience.
