Kuwait Air Defenses Intercept Iranian Missiles, Drones

Kuwait’s military said on Sunday that its air defense systems were intercepting what it described as hostile Iranian missile and drone attacks.

In a statement, the General Staff of the Kuwait Army said the interception operations were ongoing and warned residents that any explosions they heard could be linked to efforts to destroy incoming missiles and drones.

The military urged the public to remain calm and follow safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

No immediate information was provided on casualties or damage resulting from the attacks or the interception operations.

The announcement comes as regional tensions continue to escalate amid the ongoing military confrontation between Iran and the United States.
