In a phone call, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the latest developments in the negotiations with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister.

Both sides welcomed reported progress in talks between Washington and Tehran and voiced hope that a broader agreement could soon be reached, according to regional reports.

The discussions come amid increasing diplomatic activity linked to efforts to ease tensions in the Gulf region and address long-standing disputes between Iran and the United States.
