Dubai Police Set New Emergency Response Records as Q4 Calls Surge

Dubai Police strengthened Dubai Police emergency response during the last quarter of 2025, according to new performance data. The force handled over 1.46 million calls during this period. At the same time, response teams answered almost all emergency calls in seconds. This performance placed Dubai among the fastest cities in the world for emergency handling.

Moreover, Command-and-Control teams answered 99.5 percent of emergency calls in under ten seconds. This was a big improvement from the same quarter in 2024, when the response rate was just over 91 percent. Therefore, the latest data shows clear operational progress.

Officials also reviewed readiness across multiple areas. Hareb Al Shamsi led a check of emergency preparedness and patrol deployment. The review focused on handling disasters, bad weather, and daily incidents. As a result, planners looked at both speed and coverage together.

The review took place during a fourth-quarter performance meeting. Senior operations leaders attended and discussed response capacity. They examined patrol readiness and emergency coordination across Dubai. This meeting emphasized the need for real-time adaptability.

Command-and-Control centers stayed the main public contact point. These centers coordinated emergency reports and patrol dispatch. They also ensured quick decisions during peak demand periods. Therefore, they formed the backbone of citywide emergency management.

Data showed a sharp rise in incoming calls. Despite this increase, teams kept response times consistent. This achievement reflected better staffing and smarter coordination. Thus, Dubai Police emergency response remained strong under pressure.

Security coverage reached 99.54 percent across operational zones. This exceeded last year’s coverage by over one percent. Officials said the improvement came from better planning and field coordination. Bad weather did not disrupt operations.

Technology also helped improve performance. Smart systems gave real-time data to decision-makers. These tools supported faster choices and better patrol routing. As a result, teams responded more accurately.

Leaders reviewed new operational upgrades at the Command-and-Control center. These changes supported emergency situations of all kinds. They also improved coordination between field units and control rooms. This made responses faster and more precise.

Officials also praised teamwork and staff discipline. Training focused on speed, accuracy, and communication. These efforts kept performance high during busy periods. Therefore, internal readiness matched growing public demand.

At the end of the review, leaders honored several employees for outstanding work. This recognition highlighted accountability and motivation. Team leaders also praised dedication and professionalism across all units.

Overall, the latest data confirmed steady progress in city safety. Dubai Police showed resilience despite rising call volumes. Strategic planning and technology supported fast responses. Dubai Police emergency response reinforced Dubai’s reputation as a safe city.
