Doha International Music and Marching Festival Brings Global Bands Together for Five Days of Spectacle

Doha is set to welcome the Doha International Music and Marching Festival, featuring renowned bands from seven countries. The event, scheduled from December 16 to 20, 2025, will take place at the Katara Cultural Village. Moreover, it promises a spectacular blend of military precision, musical artistry, and Qatari heritage. Organizers confirmed the participation of prestigious international ensembles, including the Irish Guards and Royal Air Force Music Services from the United Kingdom, the United States Air Force Honour Guard, the Ottoman Mehter Band from Turkiye, the Jordanian Armed Forces Band, the Royal Guard of Oman Band, and the Central Military Band of the Kazakh Ministry of Defence. Additionally, Qatari bands representing the Ministries of Defence and Interior, the Amiri Guard, the Ministry of Culture, and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will also perform. Clearly, the Doha International Music and Marching Festival combines global talent with local pride.

During the press conference, the organizing committee emphasized that this inaugural festival embodies Qatar’s cultural openness and artistic vision. Furthermore, they noted that the event will highlight the nation’s commitment to blending authenticity with innovation. Visitors can expect an engaging program featuring international performances alongside traditional Qatari showcases, including the Ardha.
