The Ministry of Finance, with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Qatar Chamber, announced the forum under the slogan: “One Vision, Multiple Opportunities.” Sixteen government entities will participate and present their procurement plans. Procurement forum Qatar 2026 allows companies to understand government strategies and explore business opportunities.

Nayef Al-Hababi, Director of the Government Procurement Regulation Department, highlighted six key themes. In 2025, local companies won contracts worth QR14 billion, representing 82 percent of total government procurements. Contracts covered pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and national factories. Additionally, micro, small, and medium enterprises participated in over 11,500 tenders, supported by financial facilitation packages.

During the three-day forum, workshops will explore procurement policies, legislation, digital transformation, and the updated In-Country Value framework. Panel discussions will cover cost-saving strategies, competitiveness, investment opportunities, and promoting local products. Moreover, the forum fosters dialogue between government representatives and businesses. Procurement forum Qatar 2026 creates a space where companies, entrepreneurs, and investors can form partnerships and access government tenders.

The previous edition attracted over 2,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, investors, and company representatives. More than 980 professionals from sectors like manufacturing, services, construction, hospitality, and construction technology attended. This diversity strengthened collaboration, communication, and competitive engagement across industries.
