Kuwaiti Youth Complete Course on Electronic Game Development

The Kuwaiti youth electronic games course concluded on Saturday after eight days of intensive training. Organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, the program aimed to strengthen youth skills in the digital industry. A total of 85 participants joined the course, learning essential aspects of game development, design, and sound innovation.

Program director Omaima Al-Saad explained that the training provided practical and theoretical knowledge. She emphasized that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support innovation. The Kuwaiti youth electronic games course also encouraged participants to experiment with music creation, an area often overlooked in game development.

Additionally, the council has organized specialized workshops for young people interested in digital creativity over the past years. These efforts aim to empower the next generation with advanced technical and artistic skills. The council also organized the “Electronic Games Expo Made in Kuwait” earlier this month at the Avenues Mall. That event displayed youth-led projects and showcased new gaming innovations.

This recent training formed part of the Cultural Saifi 17 festival. The festival, held annually, offers diverse activities designed to highlight local talent during the summer. Organizers explained that focusing on technology and digital creativity aligns with Kuwait’s cultural development goals.

Moreover, participants gained exposure to different elements of the gaming industry. They learned how to design engaging storylines, create interactive graphics, and produce high-quality audio. Trainers also encouraged teamwork and collaboration, vital skills in today’s fast-growing digital sector. The program concluded with presentations where trainees demonstrated their projects.

The Kuwaiti youth electronic games course has already inspired participants to consider future careers in the gaming industry. Many expressed their desire to continue improving their skills and contributing to Kuwait’s growing digital scene. Such initiatives also build confidence and encourage innovation across broader creative industries.

The council reaffirmed its commitment to providing young people with continuous opportunities. By investing in creativity and modern technology, Kuwait aims to support sustainable cultural and economic growth.

In conclusion, the program’s success reflects both strong organization and enthusiastic participation. It highlights the importance of nurturing local talent and ensuring Kuwaiti youth remain leaders in digital innovation.
