Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has reviewed its Emergency Operations arrangements during a field visit by Undersecretary Sheikh Dr Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah. The visit focused on the Medical Emergency Operations Room and the ministry’s medical stores.
During his evening visit, Sheikh Dr Salman examined the operations room’s work and coordination among on-duty teams. He also met employees responsible for maintaining operations and supporting the ministry’s emergency response activities.
The undersecretary praised staff members for their efforts and commitment to their responsibilities. He also emphasised the importance of maintaining effective communication between teams and relevant ministry sectors.
He stressed that close coordination helps ensure smooth operations across the ministry’s different departments. Moreover, he highlighted the need to maintain uninterrupted health services for the public.
The visit also included the ministry’s medical stores, another important part of its healthcare operations. However, the ministry’s statement did not provide further details about stock levels, storage capacity or specific supplies.
According to the ministry, the field visit formed part of ongoing leadership oversight. This approach allows senior officials to assess work directly at important facilities and engage with employees.
The ministry also aims to strengthen coordination between its sectors through regular field follow-ups. Consequently, these visits support efforts to maintain consistent operations and reliable healthcare services.
The Emergency Operations review reflects the ministry’s attention to coordination and continuity across essential facilities. The ministry did not announce any new measures or changes following the visit.
