Weather Alert: Thunderstorms and Strong Winds Expected

The Meteorology Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has issued a warning for Bahrain. The weather today will be partly cloudy with scattered rain. Some areas in the southern marine regions may experience thunderstorms.

Strong winds are expected, especially in the southern marine areas. The wind will blow from the north at speeds between 5 and 10 knots. At times, it may increase to 15 knots, with gusts reaching 30 knots in certain areas.

Meteorologists emphasize the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by strong gusts. Residents, especially those in coastal regions, should remain cautious. The wave height will vary between one and three feet. However, during strong gusts, waves may reach up to seven feet at sea.

The temperature will fluctuate throughout the day. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 23 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will drop to 17 degrees Celsius. Due to these fluctuations, people should dress accordingly.

Humidity levels will also change significantly. The relative humidity will range between a high of 95% and a low of 40%. The combination of changing humidity and wind conditions may affect outdoor activities.

Weather experts advise caution, particularly for those planning to travel by sea. Strong winds and high waves may create dangerous conditions for small boats and vessels. Fishermen and sailors should check forecasts before heading out.

Authorities urge residents to stay informed about weather updates. It is essential to follow official advisories and take necessary precautions. Rapid weather changes may occur, making it crucial to remain alert.

As Bahrain experiences shifting weather patterns, staying prepared is vital. The possibility of thunderstorms with strong gusts remains a concern. Therefore, individuals should take safety measures and stay updated on the latest reports.

With the likelihood of thunderstorms with strong gusts, the Meteorology Directorate continues to monitor conditions closely. Residents are encouraged to stay indoors during extreme weather and avoid unnecessary travel. By staying aware and prepared, people can ensure their safety in unpredictable conditions.
