Saudi Military Graduates Complete Officer Training

Saudi military graduates completed their officer qualification courses at the King Abdulaziz Military Academy in Al-Uyaynah on Wednesday. Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, the Saudi vice minister of defense, attended the ceremony as guest of honor.

The prince represented Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman at the event, according to the official announcement. The ceremony marked the completion of training for students preparing to serve as officers in different branches of the armed forces.

During their studies, the graduates completed both classroom instruction and practical field exercises. These courses aimed to prepare them for military duties through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training.

Following the training, each graduate took an oath and received their military rank. Prince Abdulrahman also posed for photographs with the newly qualified officers, recognising their achievement.

In addition, the vice minister presented awards to students who achieved outstanding results during their courses. The recognition highlighted their performance throughout the training programme and marked a key moment in the graduation ceremony.

The Saudi military graduates completed programmes covering the requirements for officer qualification. Their training included academic study alongside practical exercises designed to build the skills needed for service within the armed forces.

The event brought together military representatives and graduates to mark the conclusion of the qualification process. It also provided an opportunity to recognise students who demonstrated strong performance during their studies.

Prince Abdulrahman’s attendance reflected his role as the defense minister’s representative at the academy’s graduation. Meanwhile, the presentation of ranks and awards formed central parts of the official proceedings.

The ceremony took place at the King Abdulaziz Military Academy in Al-Uyaynah, a location associated with military education and officer preparation. The graduates’ oath formally marked their transition from training to their roles as commissioned officers.

At the conclusion of the event, organisers played the Saudi national anthem. This brought the ceremony to a close after the presentation of ranks, recognition of top-performing students and photographs with the graduates.

The graduation highlighted the academy’s role in preparing future officers for service across several military branches. Through classroom learning and field exercises, the programme combines theoretical instruction with practical experience.

The event also recognised the commitment required to complete military qualification courses. For the graduates, receiving their ranks marked an important step towards taking on responsibilities within Saudi Arabia’s armed forces.
