Saudi Cabinet Condemns Gulf Waters Attacks

Saudi Arabia’s cabinet has strongly condemned recent attacks targeting the territorial waters of several Gulf states, reaffirming its support for regional security and stability during a meeting chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The session took place in Jeddah, where ministers denounced what they described as “treacherous targeting” of maritime zones belonging to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait.

Officials stressed that Saudi Arabia stands in solidarity with Gulf Cooperation Council partners and supports all measures taken to safeguard maritime security and protect critical shipping routes in the region.

During the meeting, ministers also reviewed broader regional developments and updates on the Kingdom’s international cooperation efforts. Economic indicators were discussed as well, including progress in industrial and mining sectors alongside continued investment in health, education and infrastructure projects.

The discussion comes amid heightened attention to maritime security in the Gulf, a key global energy and trade corridor that has seen repeated tensions in recent years.
