Qatar Welcomes Trilateral Border Agreement Between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan

Qatar has welcomed the trilateral agreement between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, which defines the border contact point among the three nations. The agreement also includes the signing of the Khujand Declaration, aimed at deepening their friendship and cooperation.

In a statement released, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed optimism that the recent agreement would serve as a meaningful step toward enhanced regional cooperation and integration. The Ministry emphasized the importance of such agreements in fostering security and long-term stability, noting that sustained collaboration among regional actors is essential for addressing shared challenges.

Furthermore, Qatar reaffirmed its enduring commitment to the peaceful resolution of disputes and conflicts, highlighting diplomacy and dialogue as fundamental mechanisms for promoting peace and ensuring security at both regional and global levels.
