UDST also created an interactive experience inspired by the Qatari dhow boat. In this way, the exhibition demonstrated how maritime heritage continues to influence modern innovation. Visitors explored the fusion of tradition and technology through immersive displays and digital tools. Additionally, the screens illustrated how traditional craftsmanship evolved through sustainable design, engineering, and applied learning.

Moreover, UDST organized live workshops led by faculty members, focusing on STEM education, innovation, and food security. The sessions, titled “Designing Future Societies Through Education and Innovation” and “Food Security and Sustainable Agritech,” offered hands-on learning opportunities. As a result, participants gained insight into practical, research-driven approaches to solving global challenges.

In addition, the interactive sessions engaged diverse audiences and sparked discussions on education’s role in shaping sustainable societies. UDST emphasized that education can serve as a foundation for innovation, sustainability, and progress. Furthermore, visitors observed how technology and culture work together to support Qatar National Vision 2030.

Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, said, “Expo 2025 Osaka gave UDST a global platform to connect heritage and innovation in building future societies. Moreover, our participation went beyond education; it showcased Qatar’s vision for sustainable growth and knowledge empowerment.”

Similarly, Faisal Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, Director of the Qatar Pavilion, added, “UDST’s presence reflects Qatar’s commitment to knowledge, innovation, and heritage. In addition, their approach engaged visitors and highlighted Qatar’s forward-looking vision.”

Through its participation, UDST positioned itself as a leader in applied learning, sustainable development, and educational innovation. In addition, the university strengthened Qatar’s international image as a hub for education, culture, and technological progress. Furthermore, UDST’s efforts demonstrated how interactive learning and sustainability can influence global audiences and inspire future collaborations.
