Night Curfew Alert: Kuwait Urges Residents to Stay Indoors Amid Security Threats

The Kuwait security alert intensified late Tuesday as authorities introduced urgent safety measures across Kuwait. Officials urged citizens and residents to remain indoors between midnight and 6 a.m. Moreover, they stressed that people should only leave home in extreme emergencies.

The Interior Ministry issued this directive as tensions increased in the region. At the same time, defense authorities confirmed multiple aerial threats. They reported that armed forces detected and intercepted 17 hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace. Consequently, security teams acted quickly to neutralize the risks.

Explosive ordnance disposal teams responded to 15 separate incidents. These teams followed strict procedures to secure affected areas. Furthermore, the National Guard confirmed that it downed one drone and three unmanned aerial vehicles. Therefore, the Kuwait security alert reflects ongoing defensive operations.

Authorities also handled the aftermath of interception efforts. Officials reported 59 incidents involving falling debris within a short period. As a result, emergency teams worked continuously to manage these situations safely. Since the start of the attacks, the total number of incidents reached 758, highlighting the magnitude of the threat.

On the diplomatic front, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met with Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq in Muscat. They discussed regional developments and bilateral relations. This meeting underscores the importance of maintaining strategic partnerships amid heightened security concerns.

The Kuwait security alert serves as a reminder of the ongoing regional volatility. Authorities continue to monitor threats closely and urge the public to comply with safety instructions. Residents are encouraged to stay informed via official channels and report any suspicious activity immediately.

By taking these precautions, the government aims to protect both citizens and residents. Authorities emphasized that public cooperation is vital in reducing risks. Overall, the Kuwait security alert highlights the coordinated efforts of defense, interior, and emergency services to safeguard the nation.
