The meeting took place at the General Secretariat of Awqaf headquarters in Kuwait City.

During the discussions, both sides emphasized the importance of religious cooperation in supporting awareness initiatives and community programs. They highlighted the role of education in spreading the values of moderation and centrism. Through these initiatives, Kuwait seeks to strengthen mutual understanding while promoting tolerance.

The ministry underscored its commitment to engaging with global institutions to reflect Islam’s peaceful and tolerant message. Officials explored practical measures to implement joint activities in the coming months. Both parties agreed that religious cooperation can serve as a cornerstone for long-term collaboration.

In addition, Al-Wasmi highlighted the ministry’s ongoing advocacy programs aimed at enhancing public awareness. He noted that partnerships with international organizations amplify Kuwait’s capacity to educate and guide communities on ethical and social issues.

The UK envoy expressed strong support for these efforts, stating that cooperation in religious and cultural fields strengthens bilateral ties. Both representatives agreed to coordinate future workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns. They also discussed strategies for reaching younger generations through educational initiatives and community engagement.

Furthermore, the meeting focused on promoting cross-cultural understanding through shared religious activities.
