Kuwait Launches SalemApp to Transform Healthcare Access

Kuwait has launched SalemApp to advance digital healthcare transformation and improve patient access nationwide. The app allows citizens and residents to book appointments, manage records, and access healthcare services easily. This step reflects Kuwait’s commitment to digital healthcare transformation and modernizing public services.

SalemApp replaces the older Seha app. It enables faster, safer access to medical information. The application sends timely alerts for appointments and preventive checkups. Additionally, users can view lab results, medications, and other medical records. The app also connects with government services to share information and respond to emergencies efficiently.

Officials plan to expand SalemApp to include chronic disease management, pharmaceutical services, home healthcare, and public health programs. Furthermore, integrating over 30 health systems into one platform improves accessibility and convenience. The system consolidates more than 100 million health records, allowing quick access to accurate patient information.

The Ministry of State for Communications Affairs assisted in linking the app to the national portal. This connection ensures seamless service delivery and better coordination among agencies. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health emphasized that the app represents a milestone in Kuwait’s digital healthcare strategy.

SalemApp results from two decades of modernization efforts. Moreover, digitizing healthcare aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035, aiming to create a fully integrated, advanced healthcare sector. Experts said the platform also improves operational efficiency, making coordination between hospitals, clinics, and authorities smoother.

In addition, SalemApp enhances patient convenience and ensures timely, accurate care. Officials highlighted that the app fosters trust, transparency, and better healthcare outcomes. Citizens now experience a secure, modern tool for managing all health services digitally.

In conclusion, SalemApp demonstrates Kuwait’s leadership in digital healthcare transformation. Through this initiative, the country strengthens patient care, improves efficiency, and creates a modern healthcare ecosystem for the future.
