Kuwait Embassy Strengthens Humanitarian Efforts at Annual Charity Bazaar in New Delhi

The Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi joined the 35th annual Charity Bazaar, showcasing the country’s commitment to humanitarian efforts abroad. The event, hosted by the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association and the International Women’s Club, brought together embassies, civil society groups, and local companies. Kuwait’s participation promotes social solidarity and charitable initiatives.

Ambassador to India, Meshal Al-Shemali, attended the bazaar as guest of honor. He stated that Kuwait’s annual presence highlights strong dedication to humanitarian efforts abroad. He also praised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for supporting humanitarian and charitable projects beyond Kuwait’s borders.

Kuwaiti entities made notable contributions. Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways donated travel vouchers as prizes for a raffle. Other Arab and foreign embassies, along with Indian companies, joined the bazaar, adding diversity and engagement.

The one-day bazaar took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Visitors explored cultural displays, artisanal crafts, and unique items from participating embassies. Additionally, the event raised awareness and funds for marginalized communities and the less fortunate.

Ambassador Al-Shemali emphasized that Kuwait’s participation strengthens ties with local civil society groups.
