Kuwait PM Urges Faster Development Projects

The meeting focused on strengthening government efforts to advance major projects and improve coordination among relevant authorities. During the session, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to simplify procedures connected with project implementation across Kuwait.

He also called for stronger efforts to maintain momentum and accelerate work on the country’s major development initiatives. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of ensuring that implementation moves forward efficiently and remains aligned with national priorities.

The Prime Minister linked these efforts to the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Accordingly, government agencies must continue coordinating their work while addressing administrative or procedural issues affecting project progress.

The ministerial committee plays a central role in monitoring major development initiatives and reviewing progress reported by government bodies. Its meetings provide an opportunity for officials to assess implementation, coordinate responsibilities and identify areas requiring faster action.

In addition, the committee’s work reflects Kuwait’s broader focus on advancing infrastructure and development priorities through closer cooperation between ministries and state institutions. Such coordination helps authorities maintain consistent oversight while supporting timely execution.

Thursday’s discussions also highlighted the government’s continued emphasis on practical implementation rather than prolonged administrative procedures. Therefore, officials were urged to sustain efforts that can help move projects forward while maintaining coordination across relevant institutions.

Development Projects remain an important part of Kuwait’s national planning efforts, particularly as authorities seek to strengthen infrastructure and support long-term development. The government’s approach focuses on improving implementation procedures while maintaining oversight of major initiatives.

Several ministers, senior state officials and representatives from relevant authorities attended the meeting. Their participation brought together the institutions responsible for monitoring and implementing different aspects of Kuwait’s development agenda.

The committee will continue following developments and coordinating with the relevant authorities as work progresses. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s direction emphasizes continued cooperation, faster procedures and sustained attention to major national initiatives.

Overall, Development Projects remain central to Kuwait’s efforts to advance its development agenda and strengthen implementation across government institutions.
