Investment Opportunities 2026 Forum Highlights South Al Batinah’s Economic Growth and Development Potential

The Investment opportunities 2026 forum in South Al Batinah highlighted the region’s economic potential and growth prospects. Over 11 public and private institutions participated, showcasing a commitment to sustainable development and strategic partnerships. Moreover, attendees explored over 100 opportunities and more than 40 investment sites across the governorate. As a result, the event underscored South Al Batinah’s position as a key investment destination in Oman.

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s South Al Batinah branch organized the forum in collaboration with the Office of the Governor of South Al Batinah. The forum focused on sustainable development and comprehensive economic partnerships. In addition, the event featured an exhibition highlighting successful projects and initiatives by participating entities. These displays emphasized practical examples of growth and innovation in various sectors.

The forum also launched the Investment Opportunities Guide, a comprehensive resource detailing available sites and projects. Investors gained insight into high-value opportunities that can deliver economic and social benefits. Furthermore, discussions during the forum stressed the importance of linking projects to investors to stimulate development and enhance added value across the governorate.

Governor of South Al Batinah, Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashmi, stated that organizing the forum demonstrates the governorate’s strategic direction. It reflects a commitment to strengthening the investment environment and attracting high-quality projects. He emphasized that the diverse opportunities presented reflect the governorate’s promising economic potential. Consequently, the event highlighted the readiness of South Al Batinah to host major investments.

Hamoud bin Salem Al Saadi, Second Vice Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that the forum signals a practical shift in presenting and executing projects. Signing agreements at the event confirmed the commitment to transforming opportunities into real, productive investments. Moreover, the forum encouraged partnerships, cooperation, and sustainable development aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
