Doha – Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is marking World Glaucoma Week by raising awareness about the risks of glaucoma and highlighting its advanced treatment services. Dr. Zakia Al Ansari, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of HMC’s Glaucoma Unit, stressed the importance of regular eye exams. “Glaucoma can go unnoticed in its early stages. Routine check-ups are essential for early diagnosis and preventing permanent vision loss,” she said.
