Oman Air Adds 80 Extra Flights to Support 97,000 Travellers Amid Regional Airspace Disruptions

Oman Air increased operations this week, helping more than 97,000 travellers during regional airspace disruptions. The airline added nearly 80 extra flights to keep passengers on schedule and maintain smooth travel.

Despite temporary closures affecting a few regional routes, most international flights to Europe, South-East Asia, and Africa continue as planned. The airline also increased staff availability to handle rising travel demands efficiently.

Additionally, ground transport support assisted travellers crossing the UAE-Oman land border. Buses carried passengers to airports to catch connecting flights, minimizing delays and ensuring seamless travel.

Passengers praised the airline’s proactive assistance, noting that staff offered guidance during scheduling adjustments. Digital updates via mobile apps and airport displays helped travellers stay informed about flight changes and gate information.

The airline emphasized its focus on safety and comfort. Airport and onboard protocols remain rigorous, while coordination with regional authorities allowed operations to continue despite airspace limitations.

Furthermore, operational teams monitored flights continuously, adjusting resources to respond to evolving challenges. These measures highlight the airline’s dedication to passenger convenience and timely travel.

Overall, the swift actions of Oman Air show its ability to manage disruptions while maintaining service quality. Extra flights, ground transport, and real-time updates ensured passengers reached their destinations safely and efficiently.
