Hajj Expo Enhances Readiness for Pilgrimage Season

The recent Hajj Expo in Jeddah highlighted how Saudi Arabia plans on enhancing Hajj readiness through technology, partnerships, and advanced services. Bahraini campaign leaders stressed the benefits of attending this event and explained how it supports better planning for pilgrims.

Registration for the 2025 pilgrimage season began on September 3 through the official digital platform. More than 12,000 applicants registered within days, showing the strong demand. Meanwhile, 67 campaigns applied to organize pilgrim convoys before the August 1 deadline. Officials explained that both applications and campaign requests undergo strict review to meet approved standards. This careful screening process also contributes to enhancing Hajj readiness.

The November 2025 Hajj Expo will gather 280 exhibitors and 100 speakers from over 100 countries. Participants will include local and international service providers, technology developers, and government representatives. Organizers emphasized that the event aims to showcase modern solutions, improve coordination, and foster stronger partnerships. In turn, these efforts will play a major role in enhancing Hajj readiness.

Bahraini campaign leader Jassim Aabl described the expo as a vital opportunity for exchanging experiences. He underlined that Saudi Arabia, through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, supervises this global event to advance the pilgrimage system. He added that the expo represents a platform for official agreements, workshops, and discussions aligned with Vision 2030.

Campaign leader Mohammed Mahfouz stressed the importance of access to new digital tools and smart services. He explained that campaigns must stay updated on regulations, transport systems, catering options, and safety standards. According to him, strong coordination between Saudi and Bahraini authorities helps campaigns prepare efficiently.

Meanwhile, campaign leader Mohammed Sharaf focused on improving pilgrim experiences through facility upgrades. He pointed to projects in the holy sites and new partnerships with service companies. He stressed that prior knowledge of regulations and logistics allows campaigns to build stronger operational plans.

Ultimately, the expo serves as more than a preparatory event. It provides a proactive approach, moving efforts from planning to field execution. With its broad participation and innovative focus, the expo strengthens readiness, ensures smoother operations, and supports successful pilgrimages for all.
