Gold Prices Fall 2.64% In Qatar

Gold Prices in Qatar declined by 2.64% during the current week, reaching $4,174.72000 per ounce on Thursday. Data issued by Qatar National Bank showed that gold started the week at $4,288.24680 per ounce on Sunday. The latest figure therefore reflects a noticeable weekly decline in the precious metal’s market value.

The weekly movement comes as Qatar’s precious metals market records broader declines across several major commodities. Alongside gold, silver and platinum also registered losses during the same period. Silver recorded a 4.98% weekly decline, falling to $61.12310 per ounce on Thursday. At the beginning of the week, silver stood at $64.33050 per ounce, according to the reported market data.

Meanwhile, platinum also moved lower during the week, recording a decline of 3.53%. The metal reached $1,720.70000 per ounce on Thursday, compared with $1,783.73590 on Sunday. The figures show that all three highlighted precious metals experienced weekly declines in Qatar’s market. However, silver recorded the largest percentage decrease among the three metals during the period.

Gold recorded a smaller percentage decline than both silver and platinum, although its weekly movement remained significant. The metal fell by more than one hundred dollars per ounce from its reported Sunday level. The latest figures provide a snapshot of precious metals performance in Qatar during the week ending Thursday. They also show different rates of movement among gold, silver and platinum.

Gold Prices therefore remained below their opening level as the week progressed toward Thursday. The comparison between Sunday and Thursday prices highlights the scale of the weekly movement. Gold dropped from $4,288.24680 to $4,174.72000 per ounce during the period.

Similarly, silver declined from $64.33050 to $61.12310 per ounce between the beginning and end of the reported week. Platinum followed the same direction, moving from $1,783.73590 to $1,720.70000 per ounce. The three metals therefore ended the week at lower levels than their respective Sunday prices. Nevertheless, the percentage changes differed considerably across the precious metals covered by the market data.

The reported figures focus specifically on weekly price movements rather than providing an explanation for the declines. Consequently, the data does not identify a specific market factor responsible for the changes. For Qatar’s precious metals market, the latest figures highlight a broad downward movement across the three metals.

Gold, silver and platinum all recorded lower Thursday prices compared with their respective Sunday levels. Gold Prices closed the reported week at $4,174.72000 per ounce, marking a 2.64% decline. Silver and platinum recorded larger percentage losses, falling 4.98% and 3.53%, respectively.

The latest market data therefore shows a mixed scale of decline across the three precious metals. While each metal moved lower, silver experienced the sharpest percentage reduction during the reported period. The figures offer a clear comparison of precious metals performance in Qatar over the current week. They also provide updated Thursday prices against the levels recorded at the start of the week.
