Burgan Bank has officially announced the appointment of Danah Faisal Al-Jasem as its new General Manager of Corporate Communications. Danah Faisal Al-Jasem brings with her over 20 years of experience in the ICT & Telecommunications sector and the Investment Banking sector. Her career includes notable leadership roles in strategic communications, brand management, public relations, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Corporate Communications at Kuwait Telecommunications Company (stc). At stc, she led initiatives such as the 5G launch, entrepreneurial projects, and the rebranding of VIVA to stc.
Before her tenure at stc, Al-Jasem began her career at The World Bank in Washington DC and later transitioned to KAMCO Invest in Kuwait. At KAMCO Invest, she held the role of Vice President and Head of Marketing. She drove brand strategy and integrated marketing communication plans to support business development. Additionally, she contributed to CSR initiatives, corporate governance, and crisis management at KIPCO Group.
In her new role at Burgan Bank, Al-Jasem will oversee the Bank’s corporate marketing, communications, public relations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. This oversight reinforces the Bank’s position as a leader in Kuwait’s financial sector.
