Bahrain’s Shura Council Highlights National Foundations in Response to Royal Speech

Bahrain’s Shura Council highlighted Bahrain’s national development after the King delivered his Royal Speech. The address marked the start of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term.

The speech outlined key principles to ensure continuity, progress, and growth across the Kingdom. It encouraged council members to participate actively and responsibly in national initiatives. During a Sunday meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council chaired discussions with the First and Second Deputy Speakers and the Secretary-General. Members discussed forming a committee to respond to the Royal Speech. The committee will coordinate initiatives and proposals in line with national priorities.
