The council focused on active governance to ensure stability, safety, and progress across the country. Active governance guided the session, showing Bahrain’s commitment to strong laws and regional cooperation.

The session started by approving the minutes of the previous meeting. Then, the council reviewed results from the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, held in Bahrain. Members praised the summit for clear decisions and plans in the Sakhir Declaration. They noted that the summit improved Gulf teamwork, economic links, and projects for development, security, and stability.

The council also praised GCC leaders for their unity and cooperation. They highlighted efforts in food security, clean energy, digital projects, infrastructure, transport, and cybersecurity. These efforts show Bahrain’s role in leading projects and promoting partnerships in the Gulf.

Next, the council focused on national laws. Members discussed drafts on the Secured Transactions Law and changes to advertisement regulations. These laws aim to update Bahrain’s legal rules and protect citizens and businesses. Active governance was emphasized again, showing the council’s dedication to following and enforcing laws quickly.

Ministers answered council questions on food safety, pearl sales, healthcare rules, infection control, and housing services in special situations. Their answers showed ongoing government efforts to keep citizens safe and services reliable.

Additionally, the Foreign Affairs, Defense, and National Security Committee reported on updates to the Public Security Forces Law. The changes aim to modernize police rules, improve discipline, and make operations more effective. The council said these steps are key to stronger security and better public service.

Overall, the ninth session showed Bahrain’s focus on active governance. The council continues to support better laws, stronger rules, and closer Gulf cooperation. By following active governance, Bahrain aims for a safe, stable, and thriving future for its people.
