Bahrain reinforced its commitment to women’s professional empowerment this week through a workshop showcasing female achievements at home and abroad. The Gender Balance Committee at the House of Representatives Secretariat organized the workshop, in collaboration with the Parliamentary Studies and Training Department. Chaired by Yasser Saqr Al-Shirawi, Assistant Secretary-General for Resources and Services, the workshop explored ways to enhance female involvement in public life and decision-making.
Basma Al-Hassan, Executive Parliamentary Decisions Specialist at the Legal Affairs Department, led the session. She highlighted the ongoing development of Bahraini women in various sectors.
