Bahraini Artist Zuhair Al-Saeed Highlights National Unity and Security Through ‘The Red Line’ Artwork

Bahraini visual artist Zuhair Al-Saeed stressed that protecting Bahrain’s security is a shared responsibility for all citizens. He highlighted growing regional threats and called for national unity behind the leadership. Moreover, he emphasized that everyone must defend the Kingdom’s sovereignty and stability without compromise. Therefore, the message of protecting Bahrain’s security resonates strongly across society at this critical moment.

Al-Saeed expressed that citizens, in all their diversity, reaffirm their loyalty to Bahrain. He noted that public awareness and solidarity remain crucial in confronting challenges. Furthermore, he stressed that any aggression against the country’s sovereignty or peace must be categorically rejected. Consequently, security and stability become fundamental pillars for safeguarding the lives and welfare of all residents.

From his perspective as an artist, Al-Saeed views art as a medium for national expression. It carries powerful human and civic messages. Through creativity, he contributes to strengthening social cohesion and raising awareness. His latest artwork, titled “The Red Line,” symbolizes firm boundaries and shared values. It communicates the collective responsibility of defending the homeland, cultural identity, and human dignity.

In addition, “The Red Line” shows the power of visual art in conveying clear stances. Al-Saeed explained that a painting can express conviction even before words are spoken. The artwork embodies sincerity, decisiveness, and the moral imperative to act in defense of the nation. Moreover, it highlights the role of artists in shaping public understanding and engagement.

He also praised initiatives that highlight cultural and media contributions. Platforms like Al-Bilad newspaper, which showcase the work of artists, strengthen public awareness and belonging. Such efforts demonstrate that visual and written media can effectively support national causes and foster civic pride.

Finally, Al-Saeed concluded that Bahraini artists will continue to be present with awareness, creativity, and commitment. He reiterated that their work plays a vital role in protecting Bahrain’s security. Through art, they can safeguard national identity, support social unity, and defend the values and stability of the homeland.
