The Bahrain Tennis Club is set to conclude the 12th edition of the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Junior Tennis Championship with the final match and closing ceremony at 5 pm on Tuesday. The tournament, which ran from February 2 to 11, featured 240 male and female players competing in nine singles and doubles categories over ten days.
Ahmed Khalid Al-Khalfan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tennis Club, acknowledged the continued support for the championship since its inception in 2012. He commended the efforts made to ensure a successful event and expressed appreciation for the high level of participation and the competitive yet sportsmanlike matches displayed throughout the tournament.
The final day’s schedule includes the main event, the singles championship for the 18-year-old category, featuring Bahraini player Faisal Masih against Egyptian competitor Yassin Mohammed. Given the strong technical performances of both players, an intense and entertaining match is anticipated to close out the tournament. Following the match, dignitaries and sponsors, led by Fouad Kanoo, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, will present trophies and awards to the top players.
