The King of Bahrain has issued directives for the disbursement of an Eid Al-Adha financial grant to families supported by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, as the country prepares for the upcoming holiday season.
The support, which covers families registered under the foundation’s care, is intended to help beneficiaries meet their needs ahead of Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH / 2026 AD. The Royal Humanitarian Foundation has been instructed to oversee the distribution process and ensure that payments reach eligible families in a timely manner.
The decision reflects continued state-backed welfare efforts aimed at supporting vulnerable households across Bahrain, particularly during major religious occasions when financial pressures typically increase.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who oversees humanitarian and youth affairs at the foundation, expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as part of ongoing efforts to support families and share in their seasonal needs. He noted that such programmes help strengthen social cohesion and provide practical assistance during important national and religious events.
Separately, the Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation said the Eid grant reflects ongoing efforts to provide structured social care and ensure support reaches those who need it efficiently, in line with national humanitarian priorities.
