Pakistan PM Arrives In Jeddah For Saudi Talks

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on Thursday for an official visit, where he is expected to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

Sharif was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal, along with several Saudi and Pakistani officials, including Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq.

The visit comes at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing the latest regional developments.

According to Pakistani state media, the prime minister will also perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during his stay.

Sharif is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Information Minister Atta Tarar and other senior officials.
