Bahrain Expands Access to Housing Finance Through Mobile Initiative

Bahrain is making housing finance more accessible with a new mobile housing finance initiative. The program runs from November 5 to November 9 at Marassi Galleria Mall, Gate 2, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Citizens can meet specialists in person to get guidance and immediate advice on housing options.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank said this initiative complements the “Tumooh” program and new digital services on the “Baiti” platform. Therefore, citizens can ask questions, receive consultations, and learn eligibility requirements and financing terms directly. This approach simplifies the process and improves access to services.

Beneficiaries of “Tasheel” and “Tasheel+” programs, as well as previous home buyers, can obtain additional government-subsidized financing of 20,000 Bahraini dinars. Moreover, the initiative helps citizens who are not familiar with digital tools. Specialists demonstrate the “Baiti” platform, showing property listings, application tracking, online reservation, and digital property valuation.

The “Baiti” platform features more than 13,400 properties across Bahrain, compatible with Tasheel, Tasheel+, and the new “Mazaya” program. These include apartments, plots, and residential units. By providing an interactive digital experience, the initiative allows citizens to complete their applications efficiently and confidently.

Furthermore, the mobile branch is part of broader efforts by the Ministry and Housing Bank to engage citizens. They conduct awareness campaigns, lectures, and consultations across ministries and companies to expand access to instant housing services. Consequently, residents stay informed about all available housing finance options and digital platforms.

Officials stressed that the mobile housing finance initiative improves transparency, speeds up procedures, and enhances service quality. Citizens leaving the branch gain clear instructions to apply for housing programs and access financial support quickly. Therefore, the initiative reflects Bahrain’s commitment to modernizing housing services while maintaining direct communication with residents.

Overall, this mobile housing finance initiative provides a practical, user-friendly, and digitally integrated solution for citizens seeking housing assistance. It strengthens efficiency, access, and financial empowerment across the Kingdom.
