Saudi Crown Prince, Trump Discuss Regional Tensions

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US President Donald Trump discussed the latest regional developments during a phone call on Sunday, with both leaders reviewing bilateral cooperation and the need to ease tensions.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the conversation focused on developments in the Middle East and their regional and international implications.

During the call, the Crown Prince underscored the importance of prioritising dialogue to help reduce tensions across the region. He stressed that every effort should be made to support de-escalation and create conditions for diplomatic solutions.

Prince Mohammed said diplomatic engagement is essential to preserving regional security and stability while preventing the crisis from expanding into a broader conflict that could have wider international consequences.

The two leaders also reviewed existing areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States and discussed ways to further strengthen ties between the two countries.
