Amir and Libyan Leader Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

DOHA – His Highness the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Libyan Prime Minister HE Abdul Hamid Mohammed Al Dbeiba. The meeting took place with his delegation at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.

The leaders explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations across various sectors. They also discussed key issues and recent developments of mutual interest.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani also attended. Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi and several senior Qatari officials were present at the meeting.

From Libya, the delegation included Political and Security Advisor to the Prime Minister HE Ibrahim Al Dbeiba. The delegation also comprised Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs HE Walid Al Lafi and other senior officials.
