Kuwait Honors Fallen Servicemen in Solemn Martyrs Tribute

Kuwait held a solemn Kuwait martyrs tribute on Monday to honor two servicemen who sacrificed their lives while performing national security duties. Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Emad Al-Sharrah and Major Fahad Abdulaziz Al-Mujammad, members of the General Administration of Land Border Security, were martyred while defending the homeland. The funeral took place at Sulaibikhat Cemetery, where government officials, colleagues, and citizens attended to pay respects.

During the ceremony, mourners expressed deep gratitude for the officers’ dedication. They described the two men as loyal sons of Kuwait who gave their lives for the nation. Their service reflects courage and commitment, and this Kuwait martyrs tribute highlighted the daily sacrifices of those protecting the country’s safety.

Earlier, top officials sent heartfelt messages of condolences to the families. The Amir expressed sympathy and prayed for mercy on the fallen officers. Similarly, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister extended condolences, wishing the families patience and comfort. Additionally, the National Guard leadership conveyed their sympathies on behalf of all personnel, honoring the officers’ courage and devotion.

Former Minister of Information and Culture Abdullah Boftain also attended the funeral. He praised the turnout, noting it reflected the deep appreciation Kuwaitis hold for national defenders. Boftain highlighted the final message sent by Major Fahad to his family, calling it representative of all Kuwait armed forces personnel. Moreover, he condemned recent unjust Iranian attacks, emphasizing that such aggression affects Kuwait and the wider Gulf region.

The ceremony also demonstrated strong national unity. Attendees, journalists, and media teams worked together to deliver the official message accurately. By observing this Kuwait martyrs tribute, citizens honored both the fallen officers and the enduring commitment of Kuwait’s security forces. Such events strengthen solidarity and awareness of the sacrifices made to safeguard the nation.
