Al-Arabi Win Kuwait Crown Prince Cup Final

Al-Arabi SC claimed the Crown Prince Cup title after a dominant 3-0 victory over Kuwait SC in the final at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Monday.

The result secured the club’s 10th triumph in the competition and marked one of its most convincing performances of the season against the reigning league champions.

Mohammad Al-Nassar opened the scoring before Kameel Al-Aswad doubled the lead in the 19th minute. Zaid Qanbar later added a third goal to complete the victory as Al-Arabi controlled large stretches of the match.

The contest shifted further in Al-Arabi’s favour during the first half after Kuwait SC defender Almahdi Burahamah was sent off for denying a clear scoring opportunity, forcing his side to continue with ten players.

Despite a competitive opening period, Kuwait SC struggled to recover from the dismissal, while their opponents maintained pressure and dictated the pace until the final whistle.

The final was held under the patronage and attendance of Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, alongside several senior Kuwaiti officials, ministers and sports administrators.

Among those present were Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and officials from the Kuwait Football Association and Kuwait Olympic Committee.

Following the match, the Crown Prince presented the trophy to the players and coaching staff in front of supporters at the stadium.

The victory adds another major domestic title to Al-Arabi’s record and underlines the club’s continued standing in Kuwaiti football, where traditional rivalries continue to attract strong public interest across the Gulf region.
