Lebanon’s Army Commander Meets Saudi Envoy to Discuss Regional, Local Developments

Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun held a meeting today with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, at the army headquarters in Yarze.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region, with a focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Aoun and Ambassador Al-Bukhari emphasized the importance of regional stability and affirmed their mutual commitment to bolstering defense coordination and security cooperation.

The visit comes amid ongoing political uncertainty in Lebanon and heightened regional tensions, especially in light of recent events across the Middle East.
