Saudi, Jordanian Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza and Upcoming Palestine Conference

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Riyadh on Wednesday. The two officials reviewed bilateral ties and discussed preparations for an international conference focused on the Palestinian cause.

The meeting emphasized efforts to advance the two-state solution for Palestine. Both sides discussed regional and global developments, placing special attention on the Gaza conflict and humanitarian concerns.

Prince Faisal and Safadi praised the work of the Ministerial Committee from the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit. This committee continues to engage global powers on ways to end the war in Gaza and restore peace.

The ministers also reviewed detailed plans for a high-level conference scheduled for June. Saudi Arabia and France will co-host the event, which aims to advance the two-state solution for Palestine through diplomatic engagement.

Officials stressed the importance of unified Arab and international efforts to support Palestinian rights. They called for renewed momentum in global discussions, urging stakeholders to back meaningful action toward lasting peace.

The Saudi-Jordanian discussions reinforced the deep ties between the two countries. Both ministers agreed to expand cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian fields.

As violence in Gaza continues, Riyadh and Amman aim to rally the global community. Their shared goal is to advance the two-state solution for Palestine and push for international consensus on ending the conflict.

The June conference is expected to draw participation from key international actors. It will serve as a platform to revive peace talks and support practical steps toward Palestinian statehood.
