Bahrain Drives Economic Integration Through Regional Cooperation and Strategic Dialogue

Bahrain drives economic integration by actively promoting regional collaboration and open market policies.
During the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat, Bahrain reaffirmed its commitment to joint development.
Shura Council member Ejlal Isa Bubshait represented Bahrain and stressed the Kingdom’s strategic vision.

She stated that Bahrain drives economic integration under the guidance of its leadership and legislative institutions.
Bubshait emphasized that the nation supports economic partnerships based on mutual interest and respect.
She noted that Bahrain believes comprehensive development requires active cooperation with regional and global partners.

The forum focused on boosting economic integration among countries of the South.
This theme holds special importance as global challenges increase and geopolitical shifts accelerate.
According to Bubshait, these conditions demand stronger South-South cooperation to achieve sustainable growth.

Bahrain continues to position itself as a top regional financial and trade center.
The country promotes openness and applies sustainable policies to ensure economic and social progress.
Its legislative framework supports this direction with advanced economic laws and strategic international agreements.

Bubshait stated that Bahrain has approved several regional and global deals.
These include pacts to eliminate double taxation and promote cross-border investment flows.
She explained that such steps improve Bahrain’s trade ties and reinforce investor confidence.

Bahrain drives economic integration by sharing its expertise with developing countries through technical partnerships.
The Kingdom also encourages private sector investment abroad to fuel sustainable projects and economic returns.
Bubshait stressed that deepening South-South cooperation is now a strategic necessity.

She proposed forming a permanent parliamentary mechanism for joint program monitoring and legal coordination.
This would help remove barriers to integration and improve national development results.

Finally, she called for support of parliamentary platforms that build real partnerships and strengthen regional understanding.
Such forums, she said, align with shared ambitions for growth, prosperity, and long-term cooperation.
