Al Marri, Al Qahtani, and Al Banna Excel in Qatar Free-Style Championship Finale

The 2024-2025 Qatar Free-Style Championship concluded in thrilling fashion. A packed crowd witnessed intense competition during the fourth and final round. It was held under the patronage of Qatar Racing Club Chairman Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani.

The finale began with registration and technical inspections on Thursday. There was participation from 44 contestants. Strict safety requirements were enforced. Vehicles needed roll cages and secured batteries. Additionally, drivers were required to wear full gear, helmets, and functional seatbelts.

A pre-event briefing on Friday outlined the competition rules. Each driver had to perform five key maneuvers: drifting, reverse movement, the loop maneuver, and the “Rios” maneuver. They had to complete these within four minutes. Scoring was based on speed, style, and execution.

After more than four hours of fierce competition, Saoud Al Marri claimed his first championship title and podium finish. Previously, he had finished fourth in the opening round. Abdullah Al Qahtani, winner of the previous two rounds, and the only competitor to reach the podium in every round this season, secured second place. Rashid Al Banna, winner of the opening round, finished third.

Mohamed Al Mohannadi had consistently placed second throughout the season. However, he missed the podium this time, finishing fourth ahead of Ahmed Al Banna in fifth place.

QRC Director General Sheikh Jabor bin Khalid Al Thani crowned the winners. The Qatar Racing Club wrapped up its 2024-2025 season.
