Oman and Iraq Discuss Strengthening Transport and Logistics Cooperation

The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Iraq held a bilateral discussion session today to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in the transport and logistics sectors.

The meeting brought together Oman’s Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, and Iraq’s Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi. Taking place in Baghdad, the session focused on advancing joint efforts in transportation development and boosting integration in logistics between the two nations.

Officials from both countries attended the talks, which reflect a shared commitment to deepening economic and infrastructure ties in line with regional connectivity goals.
